Maria José Albalá
I hold a degree in Optics and Optometry, in Health, and a degree in Optics and Audiometry. I have completed three master’s degrees in Advanced Optometry and Vision Sciences, as well as in Advanced Visual Healthcare.
Throughout my professional career, I have served as an associate professor at the University of Valencia, in the Faculty of Physics, within their Optics Department. I’ve worked as a clinical optometrist in several reputable professional and scientific institutions affiliated with the University of Valencia, such as the Lluís Alcanyís Foundation in Valencia.
I have been practicing my profession for 36 years and have attended to over 25,000 patients in my establishments, Optica Aquavision & Aquaaudition, and now Aquagenetic.
I’ve undertaken memory courses with international champions like Ramón Campayo, rapid reading courses under “Lector voraz,” and high-performance reading with Dr. Nora Beltrán. I’ve also engaged in courses on visual skills and visual coaching, training in visuomotor skills, visual therapy, and visual reeducation.
